Are
your employees satisfied by their work?
Are you?
The Gallup Organization
recommends we ask our staff and ourselves these twelve questions
in order to begin the internal process of looking at how we are,
or are not, supported by our workplace and those with whom we work.
This is an excellent survey to offer employees to begin a company-wide
dialog on how supervisors and managers might better support staff
and retain them. Try it anonymously at your place of business and
get the real answers you need to make positive change.
- Do
I know what is expected of me at work?
- I
have the materials and equipment I need to do my work right?
- At
work, I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day?
- In
the last seven days, I have received recognition or praise for
doing good work?
- My
supervisor, or someone at work, seems to care about me as a person?
- There
is someone at work who encourages my development?
- At
work, my opinions seem to count?
- The
mission/purpose of my company makes me feel my job is important?
- My
associates (fellow employees) are committed to doing quality
work?
- I
have a best friend at work?
- In
the last six months, someone at work has talked to me about my
progress?
- This
last year, I have had opportunities at work to learn and grow?

Spanish is required.
Hiring the Right Person and Keeping Them
March 27 and 28
4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Would
you like to be better at hiring the right person for the
job? Do you know the real reasons why most employees leave?

employees? This seminar covers human resources topics for
the non-HR employee who has been given human resource responsibilities.
This course is useful for supervisors, small business owners,
and companies without a dedicated human resource manager.
